New Lineup Of Ultra HD Digital and Full HD WhiteBoards Provide Numerous Choices and Features for Commercial and Educational Markets
New York, NY, June 25, 2014 — Westinghouse Digital, one of the leading LED TV manufacturers in the U.S., has announced new, updated models of their leading-edge lineup of digital LED-based Interactive WhiteBoards that through a combination of size, functionality, performance and versatility will revolutionize business meetings and presentations, classroom instruction, training and communications everywhere. The new, updated lineup will be demoed during CE Week NY 2014, June 25 -26 at the Metropolitan Pavilion, Booth # 58.
The Westinghouse Digital Whiteboard line consists of four models, ranging in size from 55-inch Full HD 1080p units through a massive 84-inch 4K (UltraHD) model, making them perfect for venues ranging from intimate classrooms to broad-scale auditoriums. They are compatible with the latest Windows 8 and 7 operating systems with available optional PC module in the provided slot or user-supplied PC. The Westinghouse Digital Whiteboards feature its proprietary 6 point Touch system with Intuitive Rapid Response. The intuitive control utilizes an included touch pen or the tip of your finger and provides a new dimension in interactive control by detecting touch points quickly, at an industry leading response time of 4 milliseconds with a touch radius of 5mm, and with high accuracy.
The display surface has a Mohs level seven rating and has an optional anti-glare coating. It combines the ease and functionality of a familiar touchscreen like a smart phone or tablet, but with sizes that can replace projection systems that allow an entire conference room or auditorium to see everything clearly. The included WScribe software provides users with the perfect application for collaboration in office or education environments. The WScribe application contains a number of templates, forms and documents designed to enhance presentations and note taking. A handwriting recognition option allows users to write directly on the display and convert the handwriting to text that can easily be shared via email or saved in a variety of file formats. Westinghouse Digital is breaking barriers by offering robust systems that combine best-in-class touch performance, full connectivity, control, optional PC integration and easy-to-use software
“For 2014, Westinghouse Digital has updated our lineup of digital Interactive WhiteBoards” says Helman Lukito, Vice President at Westinghouse Digital. “Everyone who used our 2013 first generation models were thoroughly impressed with our fast response time and 6-point multi-touch system that allows more than one person to use the WhiteBoard at the same time. The 6 point intuitive rapid response touch system allows true collaboration in the office or classroom. For 2014, we have improved the design and functionality of the units.”
