Exceeds Energy Star™ 3.0 standards by 20%
The power savings is over the  Environmental Protection Agency’s requirements  and Department of Energy’s Energy Star 3.0 specification standards for power consumption. The Energy Star 3.0 standard tests TVs in “power on” modes versus “standby” modes, which was the case with prior specifications and standards. In order for a TV to meet Energy Star 3.0 specifications, it must operate at or less than strict energy wattage output rates.
