To kick-off the new school year, Westinghouse is offering chances to win a brand new Westinghouse LED HDTV with built-in surround sound made possible by SRS TruSurround HD! Post a comment to this note and let us know why an environmentally friendly Westinghouse TV would be most beneficial for you this upcoming school year.  Parents and students, this is a great opportunity to get a multi-tasking HDTV just in time for the school year.  Teachers, put the latest HDTV technology in your classroom or school!

We will be giving away a total of four (4) LED HDTVs, one per week for four weeks starting on August 22, 2011. Our winners for the first three weeks will win a 32” LED HDTV featuring SRS TruSurround HD and our fourth week grand prize winner will win a 42” LED HDTV featuring SRS TruSurround HD. We will choose winners the following Monday from the previous week of Facebook posts.

Only one entry is eligible per Facebook account per week. Entries must be posted as a reply to the note on the Facebook page. Replies must fit in one comment. Only your first entry will count but feel free to Tweet @WestinghouseTV and @SRSLabs to let us know you entered!

OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL U.S. RESIDENTS WHO ARE AGE 16 OR OLDER AND LOCATED IN THE U.S. AT THE TIME OF ENTRY. VOID ELSEWHERE, WHEREVER PROHIBITED BY LAW, AND IN PUERTO RICO, U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS AND U.S. MILITARY INSTALLATIONS LOCATED IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY.

  1. ELIGIBILITY: Open only to legal U.S. residents who are age 16 or older and located in the U.S. at the time of entry, excluding residents of Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and U.S. military installations located in a foreign country.  Employees, contractors, directors and officers of Westinghouse Digital, LLC (“Sponsor”), its parent, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, distributors, advertising, fulfillment, judging and promotion agencies (collectively, “Sweepstakes Parties”), and their immediate family members (parent, child, sibling and spouse of each) and those living in their same households of each are not eligible.
  2. TO ENTER: Beginning 12:00:01 a.m. C.T. August 22nd, you may post your entry one time in a one week period. Sweepstakes Parties assume no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected, stolen, mutilated, illegible, undelivered, garbled, damaged, incomplete entries, postage due mail or submissions, or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur. Sweepstakes Parties also assume no responsibility for any technical problems in connection with transmission or receipt of online entries including faulty electronic data transmission, traffic congestion on the Internet or on the web site, hardware or software error, equipment failure or malfunction, or other online communications problems. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an entry, entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to a Facebook account.  Potential winner may be requested to provide Sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of account associated with the winning entry.
  3. WINNER SELECTION: Winner will be selected weekly for 4 weeks starting the week of August 22, 2011 through the week of September 12, 2011 from entries during that time period. Random drawings will take place by an independent judging organization (“Judge”), whose decisions are final and binding on all matters related to the sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible tweets received corresponding to each drawing.   Prize will be shipped within 4 weeks of drawing date.  If any prize correspondence (including e-mail) is returned as non-deliverable, prize may be forfeited.
  4. PRIZES: 32” LED HDTV from Westinghouse, ARV of $429 and 42” LED HDTV from Westinghouse, ARV of $649.  No substitution, cash redemption or transfer of prize is permitted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion.  If prize, or any portion thereof, cannot be awarded for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize with another prize of equal or greater value.
  5. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Prize will be awarded only to an address within the United States.  Winner is solely responsible for any taxes on Prize.  This sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state and local laws.  Winner must provide proof of identity and age as a precondition to receiving prizes. Winner (or winner’s parent or legal guardian if winner is a minor) must provide their social security number, and will receive an IRS Form 1099 for the approximate retail value of the prize. By participating, entrants (and their parent(s)/legal guardian(s) if entrants are minors) agree to these Official Rules, Sponsor’s Privacy Policy and to the Judge’s decisions, which are final and binding in all respects. If for any reason the sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who is responsible or who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, modify or terminate the sweepstakes and select the winner from all eligible entries received prior to the cancellation or termination. This sweepstakes is offered only in the United States and is governed by the laws of the state of California, with venue in Orange, and all claims must be resolved in the federal or state courts of California.
  6. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE: By accepting the prize, winner agree that the Sweepstakes Parties, participating retailers, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by winner against, any liability for injuries, losses or damages of any kind to persons or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the sweepstakes; from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize; or from participation in any prize-related activity or any travel related thereto.  Except if winner is a resident of TN or where prohibited by law, winner (and winner’s parent or legal guardian if winner is a minor) grant (and agree to confirm this grant in writing, if requested) permission for Sponsor and those acting under its authority to use his/her name, photograph, voice and/or likeness, for advertising and/or publicity purposes in any and all media now known or hereinafter invented without territorial or time limitations and without additional compensation.
